Hi. Welcome to New Hampshire Water Law, the web site for my law practice in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. I represented businesses, municipalities and individuals in the areas of water supply, land use, energy, municipal and environmental law.
Over the last two decades, I have developed a practice solving difficult cases in the muddy waters where state regulations and local regulations often overlap and conflict. Some of my landmark cases include: representing the City of Nashua in its acquisition of the Pennichuck Water Works, New Hampshire's second largest drinking water system; representing a seacoast Town protect a 79 acre parcel of rare salt marsh habitat based on a developers statements to local officials that it would be wildlife sanctuary; and numerous cases for municipalities and land owners impacted by proposed energy projects. These are just a few examples.
